Privacy Policy

SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, and in accordance with European’s law GDPR, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. 

SECTION 2 – CONSENT

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent? If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at support@safetyfirstclothes.com  

SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information only if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4- WOO Commerce

Our store is hosted on WooCommerce providing us the online e-commerce platform allowiing us to sell our products to customers. WooCommerce  stores your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment: Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. 

Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your country, state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.

Return, Exchange Policy & Refund

RETURNS 

If you order something from us then decide you want to return or exchange it, we will do all we can to make it a simple as possible. If for some reason you’re unsatisfied with your order you can return it to us within 14 days of receiving your item for a full refund.

We’ll need you to let us know why you would like to return your item at our Customer Service: support@safetyfirstclothes.com
Once get your notification, we will provide return instructions to you. 
The postmark on your returned package needs to also be within 14 days of receiving your item. Do note that if 14 days has passed since you have received your order that we will be unable to accept it as a return. 

The Product shall be returned to Safety First Clothes at the address given end of Terms of Service and:

  • Be in perfect condition,
  • Not have been used,
  • Be in its original packaging,
  • Be accompanied by the return packing slip.

Safety First Clothes does not accept the postage due parcels. Any risk associated with the transport is carried by the Buyer.

Exchange policy

Because most of the items we sell are made-to-order and don’t have inventory it is often very difficult to offer an exchange of an item. We ask that you return the un-wanted item for a refund and purchase the one you would like instead.   

Refunds

In the event your order is cancelled, or returned through our return process you will receive a full refund to your original payment method. If an item is returned to us due a bad address or not being accepted, a refund of the original item amount less shipping will be returned to your original payment method.

Refunds usually take 5-7 business days from the time they’re processed to show on your bank statement.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate. 

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited. 

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

 

SECTION 6 – ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION 

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email and/or
billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors. 
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other
information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Products

The Products to be bought by Safety First Clothes are those shown on the Website on the day of its consultation by the User and within the limits of available stocks.
The Products are described and presented with the greatest precision possible. The photos illustrating, in support of the text, the products do not enter in the contractual field. As such, if Safety First Clothes tries to represent as faithfully as possible the Products of which the photos are displayed on the Website, variations may occur, particularly given the technical limitations of color renderings of computer equipment. 
Safety First Clothes is committed to honour the orders only within the limits of available stocks. If one or several Products are not available, Safety First Clothes is committed to inform the User as soon as possible. Safety First Clothes incurs no liability for a stock
shortage or the unavailability of the Products.
All orders are subject to availability. On rare occasions we may have to cancel your order if we have ran out of stock of the specific item you chose. We do our best to update online stock in real time but it can happen – notably during sale period – that we may be made aware a particular piece has ran out only after you placed an order successfully. In this case, our
Customer Service will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of an updated delivery date, offer an alternative solution or give you a full refund. We are under no obligation to
offer compensation for the disappointment caused.

Prices & payments

The Prices of the Products are given in euros, tax inclusive, without the participation to the delivery costs, on the day of the order. Safety First Clothes reserves the right to update the prices at any time without notice. The Products will be billed on the basis of the rates in force when the order is entered, within the limits of available stocks. The rate in force is the one given on the Website, errors of typography excepted, for which Safety First Clothes is not responsible.
Prices are payable in full in a single instalment when the order is confirmed.
If you are purchasing products in a currency different from the currency offered by your bank, you may be charged currency fluctuations and card charges by your bank which can affect the amount stated on your invoice.
Safety First Clothes uses the secure payment system WOOCommerce. The integrity of the data exchanged between the Buyer and the secure platform WOOCommerce is protected against any hacking attempt through the protocol SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and provides all insurance required for transactions on the Internet.
Safety First Clothes reserves the right to cancel any order presenting a risk of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Special Offers & Promotional Codes

 

We may, from time to time, offer discount codes, either directly or via third parties. These codes are redeemable in the ‘discount code’ box that can be found on your shopping cart page. Codes are valid on specific products and during specific time periods and cannot be exchanged. Special offers are applicable only on full-priced items and cannot be used in
conjunction with any other offer or discount.

Shipping conditions

Shipping costs are not included in prices displayed on Safety First Clothes’s web site. Buyers will have to include these extra costs to receive products. We will deliver your goods to the delivery address provided at the time you placed your order.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address you give us is correct and, if required, that somebody is available to accept or sign for the delivery from the selected delivery service. We can accept no responsibility for packages that are signed for by someone
other than the addressee.
The delivery address cannot be a PO Box. The information submitted by the Buyer is part of the sales contract. In case of error in the delivery information given by the Buyer, Safety First Clothes could not be held responsible for failure in delivery. The Customer is the only responsible person for the non-execution or the defective execution of the Contract due to a lack of indication during the Order process (wrong or incomplete address, wrong name…). 
Estimated delivery times are determined based on the method of shipping chosen when Products are purchased and the destination of the Products. Besides, shipping costs may vary upon destination and weight of the parcel, according to rates of the postal services in effect.

Unless the items are faulty, you will be responsible for covering the cost of returning the item and ensuring that it arrives safely with us, so you may want to consider a tracked service for peace of mind.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your order, you must contact support@safetyfirstclothes.com to make sure your order has not been prepared. If your order has already been prepared you will unfortunately not be allowed to cancel it.

Customs

Orders shipped outside the European Union may be liable to taxes, duties, customs charges and extra fees charged by the courier company at the destination. Payment will need to be made by the recipient and Safety First Clothes cannot be held responsible for any charge once the package has been shipped from our workshop. Please note the customs process might incur additional delays.
